Are you interestet in fly fishing for Atlantic salmon in Iceland?  Laxá in Adaldalur (big laxa) is a great river in the north of Iceland and without doubt the most beautiful river.  Laxá keeps a great portion of the biggest and strongest salmon in Iceland with a weight up to 25-30 pounds.  Laxa also produces a great browntrout and seatrout. This is a great river for fishing with doublehanded rods, but one handed rods could also make it, "maybe"....  A LOT of strong water, 20 pounder, 30 pounder, you will never know.
